Get to know the sisters...

Our vision

A world where no one faces the end of life alone. Where dying is met with dignity, families are held with tenderness, and grief is witnessed with compassion from those who truly understand.

Our mission

Solace Sisters provides full-service, compassionate support to individuals and families navigating the end-of-life journey; the before, the during, and the after. Rooted in certified end-of-life doula care and clinical expertise in bereavement and family therapy, we walk alongside those we serve as trusted anchors: helping them understand what is coming, find footing in the present, and move toward healing when the time comes. We believe that dying is a profound human experience deserving of skilled, wholehearted presence and that grief, when held well, can become a pathway to peace. Your life. Your experience.

My name is Heidi, and I was called into the End-of-Life Doula service through my own experiences loving those transitioning and supporting those caring for loved ones at the end of life. I was inspired to help others by holding space and providing steady support in navigating this difficult time, from the initial step through bereavement and beyond. Consider me your ally, your friend, your coach, and your guide.

My goal is to ensure you have the support and guidance you need throughout the planning and preparation for the death process for yourself, your loved one, or the person you are providing care for. This can be a deeply meaningful time in which precious memories can be made and treasured. Allow me to help you capture these moments and pursue an experience of love and support. You are not alone. The sisters have you.

My name is Holli, and I am glad you are here. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota and Georgia, I have spent over two decades walking alongside individuals and families through their deepest challenges. Throughout my career—spanning crisis intervention, in-home therapy, domestic violence advocacy, corrections, teaching, and private practice—I have dedicated my heart and expertise to the sacred work of healing.

My practice focuses deeply on trauma, grief, and life transitions. This path is shaped not only by my professional clinical training but by my own lived experiences. I understand how disorienting and painful these chapters can be. My commitment is to provide you with a safe, compassionate space where we can process your story together, honoring your unique pace and guiding you toward renewal and peace.

Our Why

George ♥ Bernie ♥ Debi

The experience of death is deeply individual. It never looks the same, no matter how many times you see it arrive. Every life is different, every family is different, and every experience deserves to be met with compassion, understanding, and the opportunity to honor the life lived.

For us, we carry George and Bernie with us every day. In our work, in our lives, in our memories, and in our ability to comfort others. We are part of their legacy, and through Solace Sisters, we hope to extend that legacy to those we serve. Our purpose is to help ease your experience, surrounding it with compassion, support, and opportunities for connection, comfort, and moments you can cherish.

We honor our mother, Debi, in our work as well. As George and Bernie's daughter and caregiver, her experience reminds us of the extraordinary love, strength, and responsibility that come with caring for someone at the end of life. Through her, we understand that caregivers need care, too. We want every caregiver to know that help is available, that they deserve support, and that they do not have to carry the experience alone.

Solace Sisters is our way of honoring the lives that shaped us and transforming our experiences into compassion for others. It is their legacy, our purpose, and our commitment to helping you create an end-of-life experience that honors the life lived, supports those who love them, and allows the creation of memories you can cherish.
